At the Kingston General Hospital on Tuesday, September 27th, 2005, after a courageous battle with cancer.  Carolyn Small, in her 54th year.  Beloved wife to Stafford Tavares.  Loving stepmother to Stephen (Tracey) Tavares and Rema-Jane Tavares.  Dear grandma to Kylan and Kearah.  Cherished daughter to Eleanor Blair and the late Herbert Small.  Dear sister of Allison Small (Steve Holtzkener), Malcolm Small (Geraldine) and Murray Small (Sharon).  Aunt of Amanda and Heather; and Tyler and Alexis.  A special 'big sister' to Haley Young.  Carolyn will be sadly missed by her many family and friends.

To celebrate Carolyn's life, family and friends will be received at the Queen's University Club, 168 Stuart Street, on Friday, October 7th, 2005 from 2 p.m., until the time of the Memorial Service at 2:30 p.m.

In memory of Carolyn, donations to the Kingston Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated.  The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the staff at the KGH for their excellent care and attention to Carolyn during her stay in hospital.
