Engineers can assume many roles within an organization developing medical

the commercialization of medical devices. In most of Europe, a CE mark is
required to commercialize products. A review of experience commercializing
various medical implants including: titanium trauma implants, resorbable polymer
implants and spinal implants through minimally invasive techniques will be
presented.
